What Is Seership?
Seeing what is visible. Perceiving what lies behind it.
There lives an old idea, older than our books: that the world we behold with our eyes is only the outermost edge of a far wider reality, and that the veil between the two is thinner than we suspect. Whoever grows still enough sometimes feels that other side breathing.
Suppose, then, that our ordinary senses form only one avenue of access to that reality — one window in a house of many windows. For me, Seership begins precisely with that supposition.
Everything we catch with eye and ear reaches us as vibration: light, sound, warmth, the tangible density of matter. And yet the human being is more than their sensory instrument, and consciousness reaches further than the boundaries of the body in which it dwells for a time. Seership is the art of consciously directing the attention beyond the immediately visible, and of becoming receptive to what presents itself along finer paths.
That may be an image. A feeling. An inner knowing. A symbol. A sensation in the body. A sudden association. Sometimes a complete scene appears; sometimes a single small detail opens to its true meaning only much later, like a seed awaiting its own season.
Seership therefore reaches far beyond the prediction of the future. It is above all a way of perceiving — a silent journey of the spirit, as old as the first human who turned their gaze inward and discovered a second horizon there.
The Many Fields of Seership
The attention of a Seer moves in different directions, as light turns toward that which it wishes to illuminate. Some perceptions bend in close toward the human being; others reach out beyond the boundaries of body, distance and time. In each case there are laws at work, as enduring as those of the visible world — though we learn their language more slowly, and with more reverence.

Life as it unfolds now
Sometimes the seeing begins very close by. What is really at play in someone's life? What movement lies hidden beneath a question? Which qualities are still waiting in the shadow to be seen? Where does change announce itself, even before it shows?
A reading can thus shed light on relationships, work, choices, personal growth, talents and life direction. The aim remains pure throughout: to make visible what is already present. The choice always stays in the hands of the person sitting before me. A Seer holds up the lantern; the walker takes the step themselves.
◇ The Energetic Field
Aura & subtle perception
Around every person hangs a finer atmosphere, a radiance that the old traditions called the aura: the reflection of the etheric and astral life that permeates and envelops the body, like a halo of breath around a flame. When I attune myself to someone, colours, images, feelings and impressions can rise from it.
Sometimes something of a person's state in the moment takes shape within it — the sensitivity, the strength, the inner movement. It is a subtle level of perception, on which I try to listen to what presents itself in the stillness, before the mind weaves a story around it.
◇ The Body
Intuitive perception of the body
The body, too, can enter into perception, for the body keeps what the person has sometimes forgotten. Sometimes my attention is drawn as if by itself to a particular place, or a bodily impression, an image or a symbol rises up. I understand this as intuitive and energetic perception, and keep it carefully separate from any medical interpretation.
The question that then becomes intriguing is this: what is this perception trying to make visible?
◇ The Soul
Talents, gifts & life path
Seership can also descend to a deeper layer, to where the soul carries its own history. What qualities does someone bring with them? Which talents have already awakened, and which still slumber, waiting for the light? Often it is precisely those gifts that a person scarcely recognises as remarkable in themselves that become visible.
Here a reading becomes surprisingly practical. A symbol may appear, but just as easily an archetype, a mantra, a book or an exercise that fits the next step on the way.
◇ The Past
Past lives & the echo of another time
Among the most natural forms of my own Seership is the spontaneous rising of images that I experience as past lives. A landscape. A building. An era. A bond between people. A craft. From a few images a much larger story sometimes unfolds, as though a door opens ajar onto a room that was always there.
For me, its value ultimately lies less in the question of who someone may once have been, and far more in another: why does this image appear precisely now? An old scene sometimes casts a surprising light on a talent, a fear, a relationship or a recurring pattern of today. I therefore approach such perceptions both spiritually and symbolically, guided by their meaning for the present life.
Beyond Place and Distance
◇ Psychic Detection & Remote Viewing
Another dimension opens when the intuitive attention is very deliberately directed at an unknown target: a person, a place, an object or an event about which the ordinary senses remain silent beforehand.
This form of development fascinates me especially, for here we do not merely await the spontaneous image. We set a destination for the attention and investigate what allows itself to be perceived. In doing so, Seership touches on one of the greatest questions that occupy me: is consciousness truly bound to the place where our body happens to be? Or is the mind, as the quiet researchers of the invisible have surmised, a reality in its own right — one that uses the body as its instrument and lets itself be only partly bounded by matter? It is a question to linger over long, for every honest answer shifts the boundaries of who we think we are.
Seership and Time
It becomes more enigmatic still when time, too, enters into perception.
Our everyday experience of time seems simple: past, present and future, neatly in a row like beads on a thread. Yet during focused practice the attention can turn toward people, places and events from long ago — sometimes centuries back. What lies historically far away can suddenly come surprisingly near in perception, as though the centuries briefly hold their breath. My spontaneous experiences with past lives also touch on this mystery.
◇ The Future
Not as destination, but as potential
When my perception moves toward what is coming, I experience it differently from the past. I see the future as a field of possibilities. From the present moment some directions take shape as more likely than others, but the human being chooses, circumstances shift, and new roads arise where a moment ago no path seemed to run.
Future-oriented perception therefore dictates no fixed fate. It resembles, rather, looking toward the horizon at first light: which direction is beginning to take shape? That distinction between past, present and future has made me ever more curious about the nature of time itself.
Perhaps a Seer does not truly travel through time. Perhaps our attention touches a knowing that holds less strictly to time and distance than our ordinary senses do — a knowing that rests in an eternal now, from which past and future both arise. For me that remains an open question, and it is precisely in that openness that the wonder dwells.
The Spiritual World
◇ Mediumship
Sometimes perception moves beyond physical life. During a reading the feeling can arise that someone from the spiritual world steps forward, and then impressions appear as memories, character traits, images, feelings or symbols — the unmistakable signature of one who once lived.
For me, mediumship is not a separate world alongside Seership. It is one of the directions in which the seeing can open. Whoever once accepts that consciousness survives the death of the body, and that life continues in finer forms, understands that the visible and the invisible world are governed by one and the same law, and that death is not a wall but a passage.
Guides, Angels & Cosmic Consciousness
My personal vision reaches further still, to the very edge of what words can still carry. I hold open the possibility of contact with spiritual guides and angels, and I am equally open to forms of consciousness that I experience as more cosmic — including what I call star beings.
In this I am less attached to immediately fixing what something is than to patiently investigating what presents itself. What is perceived? What symbolism comes forward? What meaning does the experience carry, and what does it set in motion in the life of the one who receives it? That inquiring, reverent attitude forms an essential part of my Seership — the attitude of one who would rather linger long in the mystery than hastily close it.
And Tarot, Lenormand and Astrology?
Tarot, Lenormand and astrology hold a special place in my work, and yet they are not identical with Seership itself. They are languages of seeing.
Tarot speaks through archetypes and images. Lenormand combines symbols into surprisingly concrete stories. Astrology reads the symbolic coherence between the human being, time and cosmos — the age-old wisdom that the great and the small mirror one another, that what is above corresponds to what is below.
Sometimes I need no instrument at all; then perception flows directly, like water finding its own bed. At another moment a single card opens a whole stream of images, or a birth chart gives structure to what was already intuitively felt. The method follows the perception, and that is how it should be.
Seership Is Also Discernment
Openness alone is not enough. The further we enter the invisible world, the more important discernment becomes — the discipline of the spirit that every true tradition of inner work has known, and guarded like a sacred fire.
An image may be literal or symbolic. A feeling may carry pure information, or be coloured by our own history. An expectation is all too easily mistaken for a perception. That is why Seership asks for practice, self-knowledge, reflection and responsibility.
My background in psychology and shadow work is as dear to me here as my spiritual training. For whoever wishes to look toward the invisible must first be willing to face their own inner world; the soul is the mirror through which all else is perceived, and only a polished mirror gives a pure image. Whoever knows their own shadow is less easily deceived by it. Protection, purity and clarity are no small matter; they form the backbone of all responsible work with the finer forces.
True Seership therefore consists, for me, of a continual movement: between receiving and investigating, between intuition and discernment, between symbol and meaning, between the visible and the invisible.
The Art of Seership
That is why I speak of the Art of Seership. An art is never wholly completed. It is practised. Refined. Deepened. It is a prayer without end.
For me, Seership is a lifelong journey of discovery through the possibilities of human perception — from psyche to soul, from body to spirit, from the earth to the cosmos, and from this moment to the enigmatic dimensions of time. Its aim reaches further than the unveiling of all mysteries: it seeks to learn to look ever more finely, ever more purely, ever more reverently.
For perhaps Seership begins precisely there, in that stillness, where looking passes over into truly seeing.
